[17:59] Nymph Zenith with a low hiss of air that leaves her lips she snaps her hand back and nemu is held upwards on brink and then released as her attention is on the death of her sister and she is thrown back as the lightning slams into her..she cackles and holds onto the wound that opens at her side

Telos is Destroyed

It is a sad day in the galaxy. Telos IV has completely collapsed. The Jedi Temple fell into a sinkhole, making the planet's core unstable. Luckily, an evacuation plan was in effect and the citizens of Telos are safe.

Let us all bow our heads and mourn the loss of this planet.

Military Build Up on Vjun

After a period of relative quiet in the Vjun system, Imperial forces have recently begun to establish a more significant presence. New defensive structures have been erected and patrols are sweeping the surface for a rumoured Jedi infiltration unit...

Combat System???

What is my favorite Combat System? Role Play!!! For many reasons: low lag, makes it so it is not just point and click, uses your mind and allows you to fight true to your character (awesome flips, clashing sabers with cold stares, talking smack as you fight, etc).

Yes, combat systems have their place. They can mix things up and are fun in big group fights. But one on one? Role Play wins every time. You get to have nice long, fun fights with no lag! A few simple hints:

1) Stay true to your character. If you are a Padawan, and go up against a Sith Lord or a Mandalorian with experience....chances are you will lose the fight. Win/Lose....it is all in good fun.

2) If characters of equal abilities/experience go against each other, you will have a nice long RP fight. If you cannot decide who will lose or win, use some form of RP dice to help.

3) Give the other person a chance to counter your attack.

4) Force Users...yes, you can block blaster fire. We have all seen it in the movies. But if a group of gunners are firing at you at the same time...you are most likely toast.

5) Gunners...sure, a group of you can be most effective. However, you go one on one against a strong Force User...chances are you will be toast.

6) Have fun! Be imaginative!

The Star Forge Falls on Telos

To further Telos' catastrophic woes, the Star Forge some how came apart and fell into Telos City. Thousands watched in horror as the pieces destroyed buildings, burst through the bridges and even caused the ground to collapse into the underground caves in several areas.

Evacuations started immediately. Many were saved and brought to the Imperial Ship in orbit, although this ship also has been damaged and for now cannot leave its orbit. Talmerith Jael of the Imperial forces lead the evacuation.

Several citizens have stayed on the surface to help find survivors. Unfortunately there are some people taking advantage of the situation. There have been reports of mass looting as well as explosives placed on other structures. If you see such activity, report it to the Imperials.

It is unclear how many perished in this disaster. And investigations are underway to see how this happened. Did a meteor hit the Star Forge? It is unknown. What is known is that the structural integrity of the planet itself is in danger. The hope is that it can be reversed. We can hope...

Meteors Hit Telos!!!

No one knows what is causing this disaster. But citizens should take cover.

Atti Says Goodbye

Dear friends,

As may or may not know, I am stepping down as owner of Telos. It has been a great ride, but I no longer have the time to run a sim.

The good news is that BelMakor Speedwell and Xoza Tyron are taking the sim off my hands. It will not longer be Telos, but it will still be SWRP and a home for all. Can't tell you what exactly it will be yet, but I will say that it looks very cool! It will be a great change for this sim. Telos was my idea along with Diakanos. So since it is changing hands, a new sim is a good thing. I really think you all will like the new place when it is done!! Xoza will be spending December rebuilding.

I will pop my head in from time to time, but will not be on nearly as much as I used to. You have all been important to me, and I want to thank you for your friendship and support. Hopefully, we will have some sort of "goodbye to Telos party, hello to the new planet" sometime soon. I will let you know.

A long day of RP

Well, it was a full day of RP on Telos on 09/24....here is what happened:

1) Lucas Atlantis lead the Jedi in an investigation into the murder of Joe Bob...a local Drug Dealer. His body found in the Smiling Squib Saloon with a knife in the back of his neck.

2) Acantha Heron, acting Chief of Staff in the Government, was found in Atticus Jetaime's apartment with her arm sliced off. She said Atticus did it. The knife that killed Joe Bob was also found in his Apartment.

3) Marlowe Furse, Chief of Staff and Acting Governor was found with his head bashed in in the Governor's office. He is now in a coma.

4) Atticus Jetaime was found and captured by Sage and Lucas Atlantis.

5) Dylan Mathys, the owner of the Cantina, has gone off Telos.

6) Atticus maintains he is innocent and has been set up by Sith who have infiltrated the Government.

7) Atticus was freed by an unknown person. Atticus is now a fugitive from justice.

8) Governor Speedwell is well again and is again at his post.

9) Xoza Shadow's ship mysteriously exploded with him and NIna Yao close by it. Xoza is injured and Nina is in serious condition.

Stars Wars Movie Joke Night Wed. At 4pm SLT

Dantooine will be holding an event of Star Wars Movie Joke Night. Basically you come and share you jokes with everyone and after the end of your joke everyone will vote on funny or not funny. Do not tell jokes discriminate against anyone , star wars group, combat system, or any real life racial jokes. If upon breaking this rules you be ejected and banned from Dantooine for 48 hours. If you are interested in sharing a joke or two send an IM to Rykiana Hykova or Yoki Lightfoot.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend.

Telos IV - Tournament is Set

Two Days of Blood

This tournament is an all IC event. It will take place in Telos IV. It is going to be a four day/ two week event. The first week will be for the melee contenders. The second week will be for the ranged contenders. There will be a winner from each division. Each winning a 1000L prize. This will be another chance to bring in more people to RP and show their talents and skills. All donations will be greatly appreicated and a massive thanks will go out to Marcus Moreau for donating the 2k for the prize money.

~Location: The Tower building/4th floor-contestants that will fight. 5th floor-seating.

Start-5p.m.-6p.m. SLT,
End-Open
Date-Melee contenders: Wednesday Oct. 3rd, Thursday Oct. 4th.
Ranged contenders: Wednesday Oct. 10th, Thursday Oct. 11th.
~Weapons:
Blaster types allowed: One will be handed out.
Sabers/Blades allowed: One will be handed out.

*Rules of Engagement*
1. No extra enhancements-all will be checked before entering the arena.
2. No Force powers-healing/buffs etc.
3. No flying.
4. NO cheating- 4 judges will be keeping careful watch. All of which know the DCS very well. If you are caught cheating you will forefit your spot and be escorted out of the building. There will be no refund of your entry fee if caught cheating.

Telos/SL gets laggy at times. So please keep in mind that this will not excuse you, if you lose in a battle to another contender. If you happen to crash you will have only one chance at a redo. You may only chose melee or ranged. You may not enter both compititions.

Starting this sunday, we will have a weekly dance party, every sunday, from 5 to 7 pm SLT at the Taris Upper City Cantina! Join us every week as DJs Rex and Sasy (whom you know from the Taris Grand Opening Gala) play star wars music, jazz, rock, trivia and more... Dress type: Formal (Suits/dresses/dressy)

Needed: Security personel posted at different points in the set up ball room. Please notify Roytjehh Voom if you could attend as Security. It will be an all IC gala/party. All others are to dress up. This is the first ever Gala that Telos is holding, so we want this to be IC.
